1.Consumer Guarantees

Our products are supplied in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded.

You are entitled to:

• A refund or replacement for a major failure

• A repair or replacement for a minor failure within a reasonable time.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the ACL.

2. No Change of Mind Returns

Due to the personal and subjective nature of fragrance, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including:

• Preference-based decisions (e.g., disliking a scent)

• Incorrect selections

• Changes in personal taste

  We encourage customers to review all product descriptions carefully prior to purchase.

3. Hygiene & Product Integrity

To maintain the highest standards of hygiene and product integrity:

• All fragrance samples are non-returnable once opened, used, or tampered with, unless faulty.

• Any product with a broken seal, signs of use, or alteration will not be eligible for return.

This ensures the safety, authenticity, and quality of all products supplied.

4. Decanting Disclaimer

• The Gentlemens Reserve specialises in independently decanted fragrance samples.

• Products are rebottled from genuine, original fragrances into smaller sample vials for customer convenience.

• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance brands or manufacturers.

• Original brand owners retain all trademarks and intellectual property rights.

Bottle designs, atomisers, and packaging may differ from original retail presentations.

5. Authenticity Assurance

• We stand behind the authenticity of all fragrances supplied:

• All products are sourced from genuine and reputable suppliers.

• Fragrances are 100% authentic and unaltered prior to decanting.

However:

• Variations in scent perception, longevity, or projection may occur due to individual skin chemistry and are not considered faults.

• Minor differences between batches of the same fragrance may occur and are not considered defects.

6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

You must provide:

• Proof of purchase

• Description of the issue

• Clear photographic evidence

Examples of valid issues include:

• Leaking or broken vials

• Faulty atomisers

• Incorrect item supplied

We will assess and provide a remedy in line with the ACL.

7. Major and Minor Problems

Under the ACL:

• Major failures include when the product:

• Is unsafe

• Differs significantly from the description

• Is not fit for its intended purpose

• Cannot be fixed within a reasonable time

You may choose a refund or replacement.

Minor failures may be resolved with a replacement or repair at our discretion.

8. Refund Process

• Refunds are issued via the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

• Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for processing.

9. Return Shipping

• If a product is confirmed faulty or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

• In some cases, we may issue a replacement without requiring the item to be returned.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for misuse, improper storage, or handling of products after delivery.
